The thumbnails and profile graphs at right illustrate captured images before and after triming of the right-hand side. The 'TRIMMED' link and image refer to the 'after trimming' version.
The trim is only performed if a 'reasonable' edge is found, and only within a specified distance (about 200 pixels) from the right-hand side of the image. Identical image sizes for before and after versions of an image indicates no trim was performed.
Click the images on the right to view a half-scale version of that image in ths viewing window. Click the file names (or 'TRIMMED' link) to view a full size image.
The plot image is a full profile of the average RGB values accross the original image, using a vertical strips of 3 pixels wide. Clicking on the plot will bring up an ascii dump of the data in this viewing window..
The width of the viewing and thumbnail windows can be adjusted by grabbing the vertical frame separator bar.
Hint: To view any of the links in a separate browser window, click on the link with the middle mouse button.
